At The Meat Shop

Spragg’s Meat Shop opened in Nov 2005. The expansion into processing allowed Greg and Bonnie to raise the hogs, process them, and then market the pork products direct to the consumer. 

The main processing and retail outlet for their free range natural pork is in Rosemary Alberta but this pork is also available at various farmer's markets (see home page). They employ 20 people between the processing facility in Rosemary and the farmer's market locations in Calgary. 

The meat shop prepares their free range pork for both the farmer's market retail locations as well as restaurant and wholesale customers.

Due to increasing demand for their product, Spragg's Meat Shop opened a new, larger facility in Rosemary in 2014. Their free range pork can now be found not only at farmers markets but in many grocery stores in Calgary and area. Check out your nearest natural grocery store and ask for Spragg's free range pork.


Custom Processing

Spragg's Meat Shop will be happy to process your beef, pork, lamb, or wild game according to your specifications. We will hang custom beef for up to 21 days on customer request.
